Mock Presentation

Reflecting on a 5-minute mock presentation on climate change, I realized the importance of clarity and structure. The time constraint pushed me to focus on the most impactful points, ensuring every word and visual added value. Starting with a compelling statistic helped grab attention, while a clear call to action provided a strong finish.

One of the challenges I faced was balancing depth with brevity. Climate change is a vast topic, and narrowing it down to key causes, effects, and solutions was a learning experience. Using visuals like graphs and simple slides helped make the presentation more engaging, though I noticed I could simplify my slides further.

Practicing the presentation improved my confidence, but I still felt there was room for smoother transitions between ideas. This exercise also highlighted the importance of connecting with the audience, maintaining eye contact, and speaking passionately about the issue.

Overall, it was a valuable experience that emphasized preparation, time management, and audience engagement as keys to delivering an effective presentation.

*My actual presentation in front of the class turned quite better with the feedback i got from my colleagues
